Now Thank We All Our God (Part 2) | 11/19/17

“I complained and my spirit was overwhelmed.”  (Psalm 77:3)

“Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.”(Phil. 2:13)

(1st) We have it SO good!

“Command this who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”  (1 Tim. 6:17)

(2nd) We enjoy it SO much!

“…but to put their hope in God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”  (1 Tim. 6:17b)

"We worship our work, work at our play and play at our worship.”

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.”  (2 Tim. 3:1)

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17)

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.  Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Tim. 6:10)

(3rd) We express it SO little!

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this IS God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”  (1 Thess. 5:18)

“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.  For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”  (Col. 1:12-14)

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment
