Dwell: The What & Why

Dwell is a Bible listening app. That means you won’t find the text of Scripture in the app, instead you will find a rich streaming audio library of the Scripture being read. Dwell is more than just an audio Bible. Dwell was created to facilitate a Scripture-rich life of dwelling/abiding in God’s Word. While reading Scripture is important, listening to scripture allows one to be immersed in scripture in a way that is different than reading. Consider how our brains tend to pick up the lyrics of songs despite not seeing the words. Hearing is a powerful means to transformation. This is not a Scripture memory app, it’s a Scripture immersion app. In John chapter 15, Jesus told his disciples to abide in him. Dwell is a tool designed to help us do just that!
